Awh man, no pictures, no blog posts, what is going on!?

Well, I have no computer, that's what. No computer, and I almost lost my house! But don't worry, I'm working on it. What an awful start, going AWOL in the first month or so of blogging!

Luckily I have some friends who are awesome enough to let me use their computermabobs for drawing and netting again, so I will hopefully be back posting at least one blog a week. Not that I have many viewers, but it's how we all start out, right?

I'm going to start a sketchblog, so if you guys like mini comics about the lives of random people, great! I came to notice just how much SILLY there was in my life, and decided it needed documenting.

I'll be doing some how-to's on several pretty cool subjects, and EVENTUALLY my youtube will be running again.

This blog is my baby step.

I WILL BE REGULAR AGAIN.

Oh internet, you stress relieving creature, how I have missed you.

It really is awful just how much you notice when these things aren't available to you, but I have no shame!
The internet is my second home.

Re-internetted!

So my internet went away for a while~

But here I am, back and posting again, and aren't you pleased.
To be honest, though, I really did get the
blogger itch while I was away. Not sure if that's a good thing or if I should get some cream for that.

In my absence, I baked you an
apology cake. Here is a picture of it. Unfortunately I cannot post the actual cake in a downloadable format for you, so I had to eat it. NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

Gosh, can you imagine if I really ate it all? Could you eat it all? I'd love to see videos of people baking and then eating a whoooooole apology cake.

I actually happen to be in the middle of something legal and boring, but I shall try to be entertaining during these few weeks until it all ends awesomely.

I shall take some badass pictures of what I have been making and post them for you guys this evening. <3

Also, I could just die for an Inkling. Although it has been hinted that I may be getting one from my family for my birthday in a week~ Whee!

Would anyone like to further inform me on the quality of said product? <3

Tarry-bye!

Setting up Bits and Pieces!

Goodness gracious! A bikini clad ladyperson!
<-----

And what's this? A suck-a-bus?
----->
(Do avoid enlarging if you're not a fan of ladies with less clothing on than usual)

So for those of you who enjoy artwork in this style, I'm filling a Cafepress and Etsy with this and similarly themed images, because they look super cute on shirts and notebooks, and to be honest... I may just buy myself some. I know, how lame of me! Haha.

So, I'm starting a jewellery shop on Etsy, as mentioned previously, where you can buy hand crafted items that are unique, original, and also some cute little video game themed ones, too. Ever wanted your own companion cube? Well then, why not have two? As earrings!

Easter themed bunny-wunny jewellery will be up on Little Flickers on Etsy (<--Clicky!) Within the next couple of days, so do check back!

Also on Etsy will be hand drawn, hand inked original artcards in various sizes (as posted above right), including A4, A5, ACEO and, on thinner card and textured paper, A3 and A2! Want them in colour? We have that, too!

Little Flickers on Cafepress (<--Clicky!) will feature more digital art, and many diferent styles of image on a whole bunch of awesome products. Fantastic if you enjoy the style of artwork, but don't tend to want to focus solely on fanart and media-based merchendise!

So click on over to those poor, empty shops and, if you have a few minutes, watch them grow and develop in the next few days!

Thanks for reading again today~

Springtime is creeping back!

Soon it will be easter, chickadees!

Now is the time of confectionary animals, springtime themes and cute bunnies in clothes.
I am, unfortunately a provider of all of these things, much to the dismay of somebunny or another...

I made some cutesy hair accessories this week from paper flowers and winding wire (paper covered, how comfy, haha) and, poor little guys, easter outfits for the bunnies' photoshoots this year.

I will be making more headbands and placing them in my empty little Etsy shop named Little Flickers, so once it's all set up I'll be sure to post it on here for all those interested in flowery hairmajiggers and hand painted canvasmabobs, not to mention the jewellery and artcards and such. What a busy month this will be!

We made Ponyo (the elder bun) a playhouse in the garden today. It's called the Chub Hub, and the Chub Hub Sleepy Edition is the indoor bedtime area in my room, because he is spoiled and it is cold in England. When it's all painted up like a Bunny Bordello I'll post that here too, for those that enjoy novelty miniatures made practical by overactive plush toys, haha.

So off I go to make some delicate little easter charms! Wish me luck with my experiments in the field of adorableness and pop over and get yourself some in the next couple of posts. <3

SO happy that winter is over~ Who else thinks so?

And we're done! <3

Painty fun!

New addiction~

So I spent four hours at my Mamu's house painting her a triptic style set of canvases for her soon-to-be-decorated living room walls, and actually really enjoyed it.

Despite being a girl of many hobbies, I've never really dared much with canvases, but after this I may have to start painting little weeny ones for my Etsy.

So far all I can paint are trees, flowers and other cutesy things. Or so I assume, it's all I've tried...

Time to get my brushes out and my paintface on, I think!
It really was a lot of fun, and I'd love to have an excuse to do it daily, or at least a couple times a week.

I bet I could do a mean set of video game themed ones. I was planning a long canvas of the pokemon energy card symbols, the badges, and then perhaps a few of each of the starter evolution cycles. Sound good? Haha.

To be honest, even if it wasn't a popular idea, I'd be making them for my own nerdy self anyways.
I'm already covering my room with space invaders, tetris blocks, bunnies and bears.

I shall get painting and see what happens! Any requests would probably be fun, as I'm sure I need the practice, haha.

Bearnails!

Something new~

So I like to paint nails as a hobby. It started as something fun, just for myself, but the interest my friends and those around me have had in them has been rather positive so I'v decided to start taking custom orders! I think thats pretty cool, I mean, I've worked freelance for years, but the thought of someone having my tiny little nail art creations on their hands is really awesome.

Also, I really wanted to do some themed nails to raise money I can donate to "Tri" for Kony 2012, as it's something I plan to be involved in. I'll work on making some appealing designs for that this weekend, I think. C:

I'm working out the details at the moment, but for now, here's a little shot of what we've been doing so far.
Let me know what you think! Which are your favourites?

-

It begins!

A little introduction~

As with any project, starting a new blog is a little daunting for anyone, be they a veteran sharer of opinions on the net, or merely a curious surfer with some tips of their trades, but anyone and everyone can do it.

As a regular forum user I'm already used to throwing my thoughts out to the world, but never on their own dedicated page.

So here I tentatively introduce -
Warm Embers.

A blog of tips, tricks, opinions and advice from the slightly overwhelmed but ever whimsical.

I hope to spend my time here sharing all sorts of wondrous majiggers, including hand made jewellery, artwork, nail and beauty tips and, of course, embracing my nerdtacular side with video game entries. Huzzah!

So join me in my mini-adventure, that I hope will someday become an epic journey of dragontastic proportions, and enjoy the wonders of the world, the Internet and life through the eyes of a girl as she levels up and hopefully learns new moves.
